Buckfastleigh first ever SOUP event
A tasty, enjoyable community fundraising evening – and YOU get to decide who gets to use the funds raised!
The idea is simple:
Entry is by donation: you get a tasty bowl of soup, listen to four project idea pitches from local people, and vote for your favourite.
Pitchers each have the floor for up to five minutes. With the presentations over, soup is served. Now you will have time think, chat with others and mull over the ideas before deciding your vote.
The winning pitches get to take home between them a share of the money taken at the door and donated by a local benefactor. They get to use it to fund their plans, with the promise they will come back to report on their progress at the next SOUP event.
